1. Introduction

The introduction is an important part of any research proposal. The introduction not only needs to present the research question but also to explain why it is worth investigating, show that it is interesting and important, and present the original hypothesis for the research. The main objective of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the resistance to change. 3. Research Methodology

The average age of UMass Boston students in the sample is twenty-three years old. Fifty-six percent of the sample currently has a GPA of 3.0 which is a B average. Fifty-six percent of the sample are full-time students and twenty-eight percent are part-time students. Forty-five percent of the sample’s parents make less than $40,000 annually and only twelve percent make over $100,000. Forty-five percent of the sample have received some type of financial aid. The sample reported that fifty-six percent have experience with credit cards and sixty-one percent have no financial literacy training.

5. Conclusion and Recommendations
